unmarked, American, 19th century, nickel-plated brass footed lamp with urn-shaped font and clear-to-frosted open top shade; set into base is a wing-nut-wound clock jack mechanism, designed to feed wick at steady pace; 16.75" high x 5.5" diameter at base; shade is 6" high x 4" diameter and appears to be original.From the Estate of John Auraden of Hamilton & Fairhaven, Ohio.Slight dents and minor wear to plate, clock mechanism does appear to work.
