8-day(?) time and strike, weight-driven, wooden works. Painted wooden dial with flowers. Mahogany case with carved half columns. Top carved with basket of flowers and fruit, flanked by plain plinths; columns acanthus-carved with pineapple capitals in upper half and bound feather capitals flanking lower door, paw feet. Tablet newer replacement with Italian landscape and gilt scrollwork surround; original paper label. 17.25" wide x 5.5" deep x 33.75" high.Ex Paul A.
