Description
Jr. & Co. Terryville Ct. Shelf Clock, 8-day(?) time and strike, weight-driven, wooden works. Painted wooden dial, Roman numerals, gilt center garter and scrollwork spandrels. Mahogany case with carved half columns, splat and paw feet. Columns with acanthus leaves separated by turned sections with pineapple capitals. Splat is pineapple-like with foliage background, flanked by plain plinths. Replaced mirrored tablet, old glass, original finish and wonderful paper label. 16.75" wide x 4.25" deep x 34.25" high.Ex Paul A. Heffner Collection.As above, refinished and chips on paw feet, VG.
