Painted tin dial, circular cutout reveals escapement, Roman numerals and printed Civil War period Patented May 19, 1863 and hands with S and T. Mahogany case with 1/3 round outer molding and doorframe, tablet with original stenciled/transfer-printed gilt rabbit with scrollwork surround on black field; original cleaned finish and paper label.
