8-day time and strike, spring-driven, brass works. Enameled dial, Roman numerals (dial is 6.3" diameter, including brass bevel). Ornate gesso gilt frame with gesso flowers and scrollwork interior. Small oval clear glass tablet below dial for pendulum viewing. Attached dovetailed box back with access through lift-out panel. Frame hinged on left to allow winding and setting. 19.75" wide x 5.5" deep x 23.25" high.Ex Paul A.
