Dial and works surrounded by 4 ebonized doric columns with ormolu bases and capitals, and topped by ebonized pediment with applied cornice and ormolu decoration. Ebonized base has ormolu foliate decoration, but is hidden by large ebonized, beveled glass case in which clock sits. Case has applied ormolu decoration on front, with front and rear access doors, and a gold tassel hanging from key. 25" high x 15.5" wide x 9" deep (with case).Ex Paul A.
