all pine. The hood has a tombstone door, broken-arch pediment, fully turned columns, and a turned finial. The case has a thumb-molded door and a cove waist molding. Original polychrome arched dial, with flower-decorated spandrels, and Masonic motif in the dial arch. Wooden 30-hour works signed R. Whiting Winchester for Riley Whiting who worked in Winchester, Connecticut in early 19th century; 91.5" high x 18.5" wide x 10" deep.Old refinish, a few repairs, replaced glass in hood, base may have been cut down with molding added; G+.
