Description

with black circular dial with gilt hand-carved wooden Arabic numerals and second hand dial above center, Seth Thomas brass weight driven 8-day time and strike movement, cove molded top with glass front door and sides, stepped-out base, 26.5" x 12" x 81" high. This clock case was handmade by E.E. Perin in Rushville, Indiana in 1911. Perin made and sold stringed musical instruments in Rushville and this clock comes with typed note on its origin and 6 printed pamphlets and business cards of Perin's, including pamphlet on his Perin Viola.
