30-hour time only, spring-driven, brass 3.75" x 3.125" movement, with large balance wheel stamped E.N. Welch Forestville U.S.A. Painted tin dial, Roman numerals, faded inscription, hinged brass bezel. Mahogany 8-sided case. Original finish and somewhat worn paper label on rear with date of 1855. 8.8" diameter x 3" deep.
