Wooden time and strike movement with polychrome-painted dial with floral and gilt decoration in the dial arch and spandrels. Inside the chapter ring is printed R. WHITING WINCHESTER above two apiaries. 86" x 17" x 9.25". Riley Whiting (d. 1835), worked in Winchester and Winsted, Connecticut.
