Description

19th century, with pine secondary wood. The hood has a broken-arch pediment, tombstone door, and fluted columns. The waist has fluted quarter columns, inlaid stringing, and an ivory escutcheon. The base has fluted quarter columns and rests on ogee bracket feet. The (possibly replaced) brass movement has floral spandrels and a landscape in the dial arch. Retains weights and a pendulum with polychrome-painted decoration and is in an old, rich finish; 88" high x 24.25" wide x 10" deep.
