Description
circa 1950-1960. A Smiths Astral ship bulkhead timepiece, with eight-day, time only movement with original cylinder escapement, white enamel dial, black enamel spade hands, seconds bit and fast-slow regulator at 12 o'clock, solid brass case, and hinged bezel with beveled glass. Marked on the dial SMITHS ASTRAL and Made in Great Britain. Dial is 6" diameter; case is 3.75" deep; flange is 7.25" diameter. Condition report Mainspring needs to be replaced; we do not guarantee working order of clocks and watches.
