attributed to Seth Thomas, with painted dial with Roman on chapter ring and raised gilt minute dots on inner ring, stylized floral rosettes at spandrels flanked by raised gilt fern leaves and painted polychrome rose branch in canted corner rectangle just below center of dial, outside escapement, combination brass and wood 30-hour weight driven time and strike movement, fine hand-painted reproduction tablet with country landscape, original brass handle on door, full turned tapered figured mahogany columns with turned and blocked capitals and bases, scroll cut crest with bird's-eye maple plinth in center and flanking scrolled crest, mahogany returns and reproduction brass finials, cove moulded base with scroll cut feet, includes period pendulum and key, 4.4" x 17.4" x 29.8" high. Condition report As above, refinished, replaced feet, repaired breaks on goosenecks on crest, currently running. We do not guarantee working order of clocks.
