enameled dial, Roman on chapter ring, outer minute ring marked with ticks every 5 minutes, bold with stamped brass surround, 8-day time-only weight driven brass European (Swiss) movement, housed in steel boxed case with side doors, with lyre-form brass pendulum, walnut case with reeded door with carved rosettes, 2 side lights on each side, replaced base with stepped scroll cut moulding, crest with carved central panel with oak branches with acorns, flanked by carved plinths with pierced returns, below cove moulding with scroll cut top, flanked by carved plinths with pierced floral returns, 11" x 27.75" x 85" high.
