polychrome-painted wood dial, with Roman on chapter ring, minute dots on outer ring with every 5 minutes bold, spandrels with polychrome painted pineapples, flanked by green leaves with raised gilt surrounds, center with gilt scroll work and gilt scrolled garter surround, 30-hour wood and brass weight driven time and strike five-wheeled train movement, patented in 1823, replaced hand painted tablet with large country estate with river and sailboat in foreground with stenciled gilt floral surround, printed paper label on interior with Patented Clocks/Invented By/Eli Terry/Made And Sold/At/Plymouth, Connecticut/Seth Thomas/Warranted If Well Used/..., mahogany case with plinths capped with reproduction brass urn finials, original tin can caps for pulleys, gooseneck scrolled crest, full tapered turned columns, scrolled feet, 4.5" x 17.25" x 30.75" high. Includes pendulum and key. Condition report Refinished, replaced crest & finials, and tablet, currently running. We do not guarantee working order of clocks.
