polychrome-painted wood dial, with Roman on chapter ring, minute dots on inner ring with every 5 minutes bold, spandrels with raised gilt scroll work with polychrome interior, center with red flowers and gilt scrolled garter surround, 30-hour wood and brass weight driven time and strike movement, original hand-painted tablet with large fort with stenciled gilt scrolled surround, printed paper label on interior with Patented Clocks,/Invented By/Eli Terry/Made and Sold/At/Plymouth, Connecticut/By/Seth Thomas., mahogany case with plinths capped with turned urn finials, original goose neck scrolled crest, full tapered turned columns, scrolled feet, 4.75" x 17.4" x 30.5" high. Includes pendulum and key. Condition report Replaced feet & crest old likely original finish, tablet with ca 85% paint, minor wear and soil to dial, not currently running.
