enameled dial, Roman on chapter ring, outer minute ring marked with ticks, every 5 minutes bold, brass bezel, 8-day time only spring driven movement stamped Hors Goncours/Resanoon/1893/Ls. Boname/(Doube)/Seloncourt and numbered 177/5.2, set in brass circular case with cast brass rayed surround and lyre form brass and steel pendulum suspension, mounted on bronzed and cold painted (original) figural base of young classically dressed lady holding the clock in her uplifted hand while her right rests on a draped table, pedestal base of sculpture signed L. Hoccol. Resanoon exhibited in Paris in 1900, working before 1878, through 1900 (Tardy, Dictionary of French Clock Makers, n.d, pg 65), 22" diameter at base x 72" high. Condition report A few small touch-ups on dial, currently running. We do not guarantee working order of clocks.
