Description
Condition: Walnut bottom base has been refinished, while the mirrored back/upright has its original finish. Metal dial surround and figures have been repainted. Original paper dial has turned dark. Hands and pendulum are proper replacements. Movement is signed Ansonia, and is clean and running briskly. All of Davies' crystal palace models proved popular because folks could "see" the action of the movement. Replacement dome was purchased from Sal Cabibbo around 25 years ago. See also lot 217.
