Description
Condition: has been restored, the country case is stripped down to the bare oak and shellacked. Top and little carved finials seem to always have been there, the bronze wreath is probably later. This has a very large movement with huge winding barrels and count wheel strike; note also unusual urn shaped pillars. It is running robustly. Don't lost the winding key, it is very large. Note "curtain" under dial has pockets to the rear for make-up or whatever. A legitimate 200 year old clock that could be improved. Height 23.5 inches
