Description
Condition: overall very good condition. This clock case was built into a drug store in Massachusetts and its proportions are long/narrow. The sides were plain to match the style of the other cabinets; there is a little bit of Eastlake incising on the top trim and on the base; case has been refinished at some time. The movement sets on a seat-board, supported both in back and from the sides of the case. It is in robust running order. Pendulum rods have a bit of surface rust, but the brass is all nice and the bob is in good condition [minor edge dings]. Dial is perfect. When the late Joe Meraux was still buying [20 years ago], the movement and pendulum alone would have brought $2500. Height 83 inches
