Description
Condition: Carved mahogany case in very clean as found condition with original finish. Engraved silvered dial is very nice with just a couple of very minor scratches. Hands are original. Case houses a heavy plate chain drive fusee movement striking on a round gong. This clock graced the upstairs hallway at Dana's, and was one of his favorite clocks, he placed it in his service in 1968, with cleaning notes until 1989. Note: the bob is original, but Dana has replaced the brass pend rod with invar (restorable). Ht. 12"
