Description
Condition: the case is in very good condition with original finish intact. The top movement has been fully bushed, is a bit dry; engraved, silvered dial has some tarnish and losses on the numerals. Both movements operating, and the bells with nice tone. This seems to be a relatively early model 64, as it has marquetry inlay of a lyre or harp, later versions show a scroll pattern. For reference, see Ly's book titled Seth Thomas Clocks and Movements, 3rd Ed, Vol 1, pages 140 and 156. Ly 2004 price guide $1000. Height 14 inches
