Description
Condition: Refinished mahogany case in good condition with restorations. Bottom board has been replaced. Tablets are very nice replacements on old glass (done around 1950 and with some flaking). Dial is original to the case, but has been repainted, hands are original. Metal weight baffle is new. Movement is held in the case with two side screws and looks original. Someone has added a lever at the bottom of the movement that meshes with a rachet wheel on the winding arbor that clicks audibly until the weight is at the top; you still have to stop winding the crank. Pendulum bob is modern. Eagle finial is modern. Still overall a complete and good looking clock. Height 33 inches [83.82 cm]
