Description
Condition: the case has been nicely refinished and the dial repainted at the Dial House in Dallas, Georgia, showing T. W. BUTLER - WATCHMAKER. The movement is clean and running. The rear plate bearing a Rose with R-S-M, which Karl Kochmann indicates is the trademark of Mueller and Co., Muhlheim an Donau. See page 461 of the 1988 revised edition. The well made fusee movement is with cable from spring barrel to fusee, and although cleaned at once time, is showing dirt in the bottom of the teeth. Although it would benefit from cleaning, it is running now. Height 19.5 inches [50cm]
