Description
Condition: Black marble case in good condition with a chip on the back edge of the side and front molded top edge. Original porcelain dial is excellent and hands are original. Clock is interesting with three shaped keys that are behind the bezel below the dial that pull out to wind the movement and adjust the fast /slow setting. The keys are marked: "Great Britain Patented 1879". Later US patents also applied. Movement is signed with Maxant medallion, Paris. Height 12.5 inches [31.75 cm]
