Description
The pendulum is from another clock and is hanging about 6" too low; it can be shortened. The well made movement is complete with alarm, and alarm weights. The porcelain dial is virtually perfect, signed P. Gervais, a'Vimoutiers. From a distance, this appears to be an antique, however study reveals a plywood back and base, new wood throughout and a new movement with original cords and no wear. Similar models can be purchased today in Paris for around 700 Euros. Height 88 inches [223cm]
