Description

Condition: overall good original condition, with only a small replacement at top center of carving. This is a variant model with carved top that we have seen and sold before. The top movement is clean and running, and the original calendar looks good, with clean original rollers, somewhat darkened from age. There is a penciled note on the rear dust cover by the first owner, Charles Schiller, who bought it August 26, 1882, for $11.38, plus various other notations of repair. Height 26 inches [66cm]
