Description

Condition: the veneer on the top edge of the cornice molding has come off and the pine has been stained to match the rest of the case. On the very bottom base molding, a chip has been sanded smooth, with pine showing, and the tips of the original finials are broken away. The remainder of the case is very good. The original dials are good but flaking, especially the bottom. The original instruction label inside the door indicates it was set at the factory for March 1, 1877. In pristine condition, these fetch around $1500. Movements are clean. Height 31 inches [79cm]
