Description

Condition: there has been some restoration, the barometer is from another piece (just happened to fit in the opening). Of note is that the globe turns via a cord that travels over a pulley on the extension of the minute shaft. The bottom pulley has been replaced, and the cord is now replaced with a rubber band in place of the cord. In our observation the globe rotates once every 5 hours or so and can not be used for time keeping. The globe with some paper loss and repairs, slight separation at the top. Still interesting. Height 14.25 inches [35.5cm]
