Description
Condition: Walnut case in excellent condition with original finish. The dial surface is original; someone has gone over the Roman numerals. Hands, nickeled bezel and nickeled damascene pendulum are original; very good label in the bottom of the case. Note this is 1880 version with bell screwed to rear of case, wooden plumb indicator, and no seconds bit. The 1883 version had the larger movement, seconds hand and metal beat scale. Both are valued by Ly at $2000. We sold a Queen Anne in April '03, lot 215, for $1860. Height 36 inches [91cm]
