Description
Condition: Refinished mahogany veneered case in good condition with some minor veneer loss and repairs. Cracked tablet is a replacement, has on old print of the Governors mansion at Williamsburg. Original dial is cracked and has a little damage on the lower right corner. Hands are original. Someone has replaced the top weight pulleys and enlarged the holes a bit. Label is dark There are no weights. Will respond to additional restoration. Welton's brothers had taken over Eli Terry Jr's shop in the 1840s and it is likely that he purchased movements from them.
