Description

Condition: the porcelain dial has a small chip near 10 and some hairlines, but is still very good overall; outer brass bezel with some small dings. Hands are original (minute hand counter weighted). The movement is of course a detent type, and seems to be 'scaping fine with manual activation. Rear plate bears R-S-M trademark with rose in the center, and serial number 316. For reference, see Terwilligers 400 Day Clock repair guide, 10th edition, page 22 for a picture of a complete clock, and page 26, fig 14 for a copy of the patent. This is a movement for a wall clock. Max diameter of bezel = 7" [17.8cm]
