Description

Condition: Cleaned mahogany case with a light layer of shellac over the original finish. The veneer on bottom edge has been replaced. There is some veneer loss on the front edges of the cornice. There have been 2 strips of plywood added to the rear to facilitate hanging the clock. Original painted dial is nice with a small area at 8 o'clock that been inpainted and has some minor paint loss at the mounting pins. Old hands are replacements (correct type are available from Timesavers). Both tablets are original, but have losses to the background, center tablet with losses to mountains and buildings. Movement is properly signed. Hard to find these with original finish on the columns. Ht 32.5" [82.5 cm]
