Description
Condition: Nice rosewood and mahogany veneered case, has not been stripped, rather nicely rubbed to a sheen. A section of veneer appears to have been replaced on the lower section of the left vertical molding, as it does not match the rest of the molding (well done). Original painted dial has flaked areas and loss to the black areas of the numbers. Bottom tablet is original, some background loss, but nice English motif with standing lion and unicorn. Movement is not signed, but likely a New Haven. Ht 19" [48.2 cm]
