Description
Condition: Carved oak leaf design case in very nice clean condition with an original top. Case houses a wood plate, brass gear movement. Dial is original with hands that appear to be replaced, but stained nicely to match. The bellows are new on the old flutes. The old pendulum is of the same period with long steel leader, however the maple leaf bob (also old) does not match the oak leaf motif of the case. Rear of case has shrunk a bit and will need a some shimming to help it stay in. Bottom board of case has been replaced with a plywood one from a more recent cuckoo. Clean and running; overall good condition. Ht of case only = 16" [40.6cm], with pendulum 23"
