Description
Condition: the carved mahogany case is in very good, original condition with the exception of 2 long strips of veneer on the door which have been re-veneered with later mahogany [not too obvious, but the grain is different]. The painted wood dial is original and in good condition. The hands are period and proper style, the mirror in the door is old, but recent putty indicates a changed mirror. Nice early gong and base, larger than normal. Bills shop and the entire town of Colebrook River were destroyed when the Colebrook Dam was built in 1934. Ht 31.5" [80cm]
