Description
Condition: this clock has been professionally restored. The only fault we could find is that the spade hands are not as early as the clock. The original and early music box with 82 teeth is in good condition, playing nicely. It is key wound from the right side of the rosewood base. This clock was restored by D+S Antiques, Dorotheergasse 13, in Vienna in 2002. For reference, see Kaltenbock's Viennese Timepieces, pages 151 No. 151;158 for similar clocks. Ht 19" [48cm]
