Description

Condition: We have seen some collectors call this case cherry, as it is the color we associate with cherry, however it is densely grained mahogany. Except for the missing brass ladies bust on the very bottom of the case, the clock is otherwise in excellent original condition, and running. Retains original swirly weights, cast pendulum, and profuse bronze case decorations. For reference, see Tran Ly's book titled Ansonia Clocks, 2nd Edition, [1998], pages 178-79. In perfect order these seem to sell for $10,000. Ht 46.5" [118cm]
