Description
Condition: The heavy cast plate movement has lyre in center of rear plate, and appears to have been cleaned, ticking robustly. One of the bellows is leaking and the "cuck" is quite weak, "coo" is OK. The carving is in good condition, and the leaves are deeply carved and with extra detail on most pieces; note the acorns. There is a vertical dry split in the front facade. The dial, hands and numerals are original. Ht 32" [81cm]
