Description
Condition: there is a piece of veneer missing on the outer side at 4 o'clock. The dial has been re-blacked over original surface by the Dial House [signature is original]. This clock originally had an auxiliary alarm, ringing on the strike bell, all that remains now is the center set wheel. Note this is a single wind, 2-train movement (wind at 9), with large balance and double escape wheel, patented by Charles Kirk. And the small pointer for F/S is absent, easily made. Small hole at 10:30 contains tab for strike synchronization. Ht 12.6" [32cm]
