Description
Condition: Stripped mahogany veneered case in good condition, but in need of restoration. Someone has replaced the veneer in the door that separates the upper and lower glass that need attention. Case originally had feet that are now missing. Hands, wood splat and tablet are not original. Original upper glass has a crack in one corner. Original painted dial has a scorch around 11--12 o'clock. Lock is missing. Movement is original and proper, short drop. Label about half gone, but Whiting name still legible. Ht 25" [63.6 cm]
