Description
Condition: English origin walnut veneered case in nice condition with an old finish. There has been a veneer repair on the bottom right corner and a small piece missing the back edge of the dial surround, also right "wing" is newly made. Tablets are original. Painted dial has some light flaking, loss around the mounting screws and edges and looks to be original, but there are extra holes behind the dial. Hands are old but don't match. Case has a great label extolling the virtue of the New Haven movement. This model was sold on both sides of the Atlantic, the label clearly showing ANGLO-AMERICAN. Ht 30" [76.2 cm]
