Description
fusee movement with heavy baluster pillars, the plates from a kit C.1950, mounted to a brass base from an electric clock, and with a modern round dome. The dial is a piece of wire, soldered in a circle, with 12 brass buttons soldered in place, and then numerals painted onto those. But the best part is the compound pendulum, since there was not enough room to lengthen the pendulum, the workman added 2 balls above the suspension point to slow the period of oscillation. An amazing combination of parts, our estimate is based on the value of a fusee movement. Ht of clock 10.5" ht of dome and base 14.5" [37cm]
