Description

Condition: the workman who set this movement up put a lot of time into it, and the fit and finish of the plates and mounting bracket are both very nice, just not old. The convex fusee is cast brass. The bezel is an adaptation, and the dial paper is newly printed and mounted behind glass. The two pendulum balls appear to be of Crane manufacture. For a complete discussion of Aaron Crane and his clocks, see 1987 Bulletin supplement by Frederick Shelley. Clock seems to run. An original would be several thousand dollars. Ht 30" [76cm]
