Description
Condition: overall good+ restored condition. The outer frame originally had "false grain" over gesso, now painted brown and black. The original painted dial is in good condition, the maker or retailer's name now just barely visible. The movement has been recently cleaned, and is running and striking properly. Interestingly this is a relatively late prayer repeater, with a full brass plated movement, rather than the iron frame we normally associate with this feature; still has robust features and very large spring barrels.
