Description

Condition: The 8" silvered dial is engine turned, although much of the pattern is worn away at this point. There is a sunken seconds bit turned right out of the brass dial, similarly engine turned within. Wheels have a high tooth count and we estimate the duration at 30 days or longer. There is a seconds hand, no others, no weight, no pendulum (would swing against the back of a case). The 4 mounting studs with original nuts are secured from the rear of the case with slotted spanner nuts, one stud bent. This is a unique and well made movement, with the special requirement of needing 5 inches of additional space above the dial for the apparatus that holds the crutch pivot. Ht from bottom of crutch to top = 14" [35.5cm]
