Description

Condition: Walnut case model in good condition with original finish. A piece of the left rear foot (straight cut piece), and 2 small flat trims are absent from the top, to the right and left of the little turnings. Original dial is clean with a just little wear around the winding arbors. Hands, tablet and pendulum are original. There is a very dark label on the back that identifies this as the Falka model, however note the workman installed the door upside down (always been that way), so you will have a conversation piece. For details see Tran Ly's book on Welch Clocks [1992], page 185, figure 426. Note the Chinese are making these pendulums now, but this is a quality original. Ht 23.5" [60cm]
