Description
Condition: Stripped mahogany and rosewood veneered case is in generally good condition with a couple of small veneer pieces missing on the upper door, and some other veneer repairs to the door. Original lower tablet has paint loss confined to the center portion of the glass. Dial has been repainted on the original dial plate as evidenced by a 1946 date on the back. Hands appear original. Movement is original. The sides on these cases were not veneered originally, but stained a dark color to match the front. Original iron weights. These clocks were made for the export trade, hence "American Clocks" printed on the label. Height 30 inches
