Description

Condition: Restored walnut case in clean condition with some damage on the edge of the bottom. The entire top and entire bottom have been carefully copied from an original maybe 30 years ago, and close inspection reveals the unsteady hand of the carver/ incising tool. (present owner had the clock for 30 years, and acquired in this condition) Dial and calendar paper have been replaced. Hands are original. An original would bring around $3000 in today's market, so our estimate reflects the restoration work. For additional details on this model, see Tran Ly's book titled Calendar Clocks, page 68, fig 153. Height 41 inches
