Description
Condition: except for the back being painted which does not hurt it, this clock is in nice original condition. About half of the box weight regulators of this style were assembled from earlier movements, where cases had been damaged or the owner wanted the latest Deco style case. This one is all from one period, the movement identical to another Junghans in this sale, but not signed (see Gustav Becker story on the internet about how Junghans tried to absorb the various factories in Freibrug and streamline their operations). Retains original iron mounting bracket and silvered brass beat scale. Great beveled glass in door. Height 32 inches
